Since the two groups do not meet at a common time this week I have arranged for some international visitors to chat with the Danish group to help them with their final project. Learn a bit about our visitors before Thursday from the links below.

Aiden Yeh, Taiwan
Dafne Gonzalez, Spain and Venuzuela

Final task
You should now be ready to compile some useful advice to anyone coming to live in your country about behaviour out of doors in the city. (Ask your teacher whether the product should be a Word document, Powerpoint presentation, telephone message, radio feature, brochure or webpage). Try not to limit yourselves to 'Do's and Don'ts' but give reasons for the advice. eg. In Denmark you will not see children being smacked because this is against the law and this is a reflection of... .

Consult with the other group to make sure that what you are doing makes sense and could be understood by anyone not from your country.

See the Greenlandic presentations here but be warned that you need a fast connection (ASDL or better) to see these properly.

The Danish presentations were mainly oral but here is one presnted in the form of a Powerpoint presentation.

Optional reading:  Attitudes towards cultural difference
